How to play F1ntasy
Everything you need to know to predict like a pro
1. Make your predictions
Before each race weekend, open the race page and fill in your predictions for each session: Qualifying Top 3, Sprint Podium (sprint weekends), GP Winner, GP Podium, GP Top 10, and GP DNF. You have until 1 hour before each session starts to submit.
2. Predictions are final
Once you save a prediction it is locked forever — no edits allowed. Think carefully before you confirm! A confirmation dialog will always appear before saving.
3. Scoring system
Points are awarded after each session based on how accurate your picks were.
4. ⚡ Power Pick
Each race you can mark ONE prediction as your Power Pick. If that prediction earns any points, they are doubled. Choose wisely — the Power Pick must be set before the race locks.
5. 👥 Community Picks reveal
Once a session locks, you can see what every other player chose! Head to the race page after lock time to compare picks and spark some friendly rivalry.
6. 🏎️ Live Scoreboard
During the race, an automatic live scoreboard appears showing your provisional points based on real-time race positions from OpenF1. Watch your score climb (or drop) lap by lap!
7. 🏅 Achievements
Unlock badges by hitting milestones: first prediction, perfect podium, big score, streaks and more. Check your profile to see which achievements you've earned.
8. 📱 Push notifications
Enable push notifications on your profile to get alerts when results and scores are published. Works on mobile and desktop — no app store needed.
9. 🔔 Email reminders
F1ntasy can send you an email reminder ~30 hours before each session locks so you never miss a prediction. Toggle this in your profile settings.
10. 💬 Community
Each race has a comment section and emoji reactions. Trash-talk your friends, celebrate a perfect pick, or commiserate about a safety car that ruined everything.

- →The Power Pick is a risk tool: use it on whichever prediction you feel most confident about.
- →Community picks are revealed after lock — use them to analyze trends heading into the next GP.
